Open window for air while system is armed

With the GRI VS-06 vent switch you can now open the window about 5 inches for air flow and the alarm will not activate.

It is prudent to put in stop rods or brackets that stop the window from moving more than the 5 inches to prevent false alarms. If an intruder opens the window more than the 5 inches the alarm will activate.

This window status switch (Contact) can be added to hardwired or wireless systems.
