Service retainer and limitations explained

SERVICE RETAINER AND LIMITATIONS EXPLAINED

When you are not a Peak Alarm customer that has a monthly monitoring bill and you would like Peak Alarm to come out to your home or place of business to do service work we cannot do so without having an agreement signed.

We will need to add a $10 per month service retainer fee in order to create an account in our system so we can come out and do the service you need on time and material rates.

You can either pay the $10 per month or pay for the entire year upfront.

The agreement that you sign will allow us to come out and do service and without the signed agreement we cannot work on a time and material basis for you if you are not a Peak Alarm customer.

We can make the agreement a one year agreement or typically we do 3 year agreements.

For our accounting department to create an account in our system we require the service retainer since our system software requires that we pay for each account we have in the system.

Please call Larry Love at 801 898 6003 with any questions and call for current pricing since pricing changes periodically.

Limitations:

Peak Alarm does not work on high voltage systems such as 120 Volt smoke alarms. You will ned to call an electrical contractor for those items. If your 120V smoke detectors are beeping most of the time you just need to change the batteries, if they are over 10 years old it is prudent to replace the smoke detectors with new ones.

Peak Alarm normally does not  install or warranty equipment purchased by the customer.  If our tech is installing a camera you purchase from us and he or she drops it when on top of a ladder that is under warranty and we do not charge you for that.

There are certain brands that Peak Alarm cannot install due to government regulations such as certain Chinese brands of cameras. Call when you have specific questions.

When you have an alarm system that is proprietary such as a Simplex fire alarm, FCI fire alarm, EST alarm system or other such proprietary system Peak Alarm cannot obtain parts and often the programming is locked out so we cannot sell you parts or service these alarm systems. Often we can do the testing although going with a nonproprietary system that can be serviced by more than one company is the prudent thing to do. Call Larry Love with questions or concerns.
