Illegal immigration shows up in the news as a hot topic constantly now with many controversial laws being passed, over a billion dollars rotting in the fields last year, raids on factories, separating families where half the kids were born here and half were brought over without paperwork.
The fact that illegal immigration is a crime if you are caught and only a civil infraction as unlawful presence when you are not caught causes some eye brows to rise and the unintended consequences of realizing that illegal aliens pay over 10 billion a year into the social security mismatched fund also makes waves on both sides. We are taking advantage of the cheap labor and not having to pay these people overtime or benefits.
My wife and I have been submitting forms to get her visa and straighten out her paperwork since 2009 and the complicated paperwork (Forms) require a lawyer most of the time if you are to do it right so that is a separate business.
