VESDA air aspirating systems through Johnson Controls Fire Protection

These system are fast asking system where we install a small tubing system throughout the areas that need this protection. VESDA systems activate much faster than a normal smoke detector.

When I was doing a demo for this system at a Las Vegas show I set the VESDA system up in my booth and then with the fire marshal’s approval back then I would light a match about 20 feet from the demo system, I would blow out the match and the system would go into alarm almost instantaneously.

For computer rooms, data centers, prisons and many other types of facilities this is the perfect system. In the field it is a system of tubes so no electronics or anything of that nature until you get to a control box which can be put in a secure area. The VESDA system has outputs to tie to our SIMPLEX Fire Alarm systems. These systems are expensive although they are worth every penny.

We will get plans of your new building and we will put together a design of the system after doing the measurements and calculations. We will price the system out for you and get the permits and reviews done before installation.

Make sure you plan time for this to go through our design team, third party reviews where needed as well as fire marshal reviews so this type of system will not be installed a week after we get signed paperwork so plan ahead.
