Community Emergency Response Training

In the event of a major disaster CERT trained people in the neighborhoods will be the first responders because Police, Fire and EMS will be responding to large buildings, hospitals and schools.

In the CERT training we train using the standard FEMA material on what you can do and what you should not do.

Some of the topics include: Organization, Response, light search and rescue, cribbing or learning how to lift heavy objects off of people, 2 full modules of first, fire suppression aid and much more. The training is 7 sections of 3 hours each.

Training will be held at 1600 S Industrial Road at the SLC Fire Training Center

English Classes start January 17th and Spanish classes start January 19th
