Camera options including government projects

Peak Alarm offers entry level, midrange and high end camera systems with VMS Video Management Systems.

Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, AXIS and Digital Watchdog are the main brands that we offer.

With the new government requirements not allowing specific systems from China and other countries Peak Alarm can offer US Options.

In order to price a system we need to know the following:

  1. Distances from headend to cameras. What type of cable is needed? (Plenum rated?) Do we need a lift to install the cables? Do we need to penetrate any walls? How many outside cameras, how many inside cameras?

  2. Your requirements for your headend, how many monitors, what size, functionality, remote capabilities, racks and configuration. Backup power supplies, Pan Tilk Zoom controllers, remote monitors etc….

  3. What do you need to look at? Do you want to recognize or identify people on the footage?

  4. What lenses do you need and do you need any specialty cameras?

  5. Some people want 180 degree or 360 degree cameras and we have those that work for specific applications although many times a 3 or 4 combination unit with multiple cameras can accomplish what you need better than the 360 or 180 cameras.

  6. If you have special government requirements you need to meet let us know and we can help with that.

Peak Alarm employees over 350 local people in their family business and we have been in business for over 50 years. Peak can handle any size project.
