Elevator Phones

Elevator Phones

When someone gets stuck in the elevator you just pick up the phone and call for help.

  1. If the owner has disconnected the analog phone line that connects to the elevator which happens more than you think because they cancel lines that they don’t recognize the phone will not call anyone.

  2. We have a new cellular unit that you can connect to the old analog line connection allowing the elevator phone to continue working when you don’t have analog lines. Analog phone lines normally cost around 50 per month and if the line is cut the phone will not function.

  3. Analog lines are becoming less and less common, many lines that they claim are analog (copper) are really converted to digital about 200 feet out of the building.

  4. You would need one of these units for each elevator to provide dial tone and it is a cellular unit that mounts inside an enclosure with a cell antena.

Call Larry Love (801) 428 1384 for more information about converting your analog elevator phone line to cellular. It has battery backup and is very reliable.
